The local gaming club put on a demo day to build interest in games for the community and within the group. Was a small event at our FLGS Adventures Underground. I was able to Demo Wreck Age twice using the Break Down the Walls scenario. Was a success for us as we picked up a new member for the campaign! We had 8-10 new players show up and several of the regulars tried something new!

High and low lights from Wreckage. (Models and terrain supplied by Gordan our resident terrain/conversion guru) I don't have my Stakers complete and have no Drifters, so I used the models Gordon runs as Drifters.

Reading the scenario...

The slowest Pigs in the world, our Drifter player was able to move pigs less than 7 each activation...the dice were not good.

Wall is gonna blow!

No I'm going Fir...st, they rolled this twice before someone won initiative.

This was the worst 6 dice damage roll I have seen yet! Woohoo Staker player!

Why can't I get my non-lethal damage to stack like that on one attack!

Staker player had put enough down do win scenario part 2. Came down to a Hard 6 roll to continue.

Ouch That Hurts...

Second Game highs and lows.

In part one our Staker player took a long range aimed shot and took out the Drifter controlling the detonator! Amazing shot, damage on all dice, and our Drifter player failed to negate 3 of the damage and was dying.

Part 2

Now that is taking out the fence.

There were enough Drifters down for Stakers to win, our Drifer player only collected 40 grain, so his last hope was to take out the melee and hope for a chance to get that last bit of grain. He charged with his pack pig and smacked one guy to out of action with this roll...that is one bad ass pig.

Came down to 2 hard 6 rolls to recover a wound. If he makes it he can recover enough grain to win...fail and its over...failed both!

Ouch That Hurts...

Thanks so much for the battle report! I love the huts, carts, and all the barricades... Are those carts from Gorkamorka?

It's really cool to see someone else playing a demo that I've probably run upwards of 500 times, and that's some brutal rolling, in both directions... and kudos the the killer pack pig. You should give him a name now, since he's a battle hardened vet.

;)

Carts are scratch built by Gordon our terrain guy. The tires are GW. I have them with me and will take some good picks tomorrow of all the stuff he has made before I head off to the testing session and campaign.
