These are awesome. I really should get some civilian/trader types for gaming.

We'll have a few more for you shortly!

I'm going to try to get some scenarios worked up for them before announcing it officially.

Definitely scenarios are needed for these sort of character types. RPG wise they will get more use.

For skirmish games its more tricky but then I suppose you have raid/capture/rescue scenarios or perhaps even some sort of race to meet up and interact with the trader.

Buying some sort of precious tech item. Then some sort of sealed bids to see who secures the trade

Definitely throw your ideas on this into the ring. I was thinking some sort of solo scenarios for 5 models... but I'm in the brainstorming phase with it all now.

I'll post up the models in the next few days for you to check out.

They create a great oppurtunity to try a character's wit skills on, or investigate, guile, etc.

I agree... I'd love to develop the non-combat rules a little bit more.

Have you tried the parlay mechanic yet?

I haven't. I'm planning on using nerves a lot though, but more of a TN test. in a narrative game i'd like players to have to take nerve tests regularly to see if they can 'muster the strength' to do the crazy stuff they thought they'd like to do. So, for example, before someone jumps out from behind cover and charges an enemy they'd have to role a nerves test. Depending on the situation that TN would fluctuate. Instead of using initiative, the nerves test would create a kinda randomness to actions. We'll see
