Hey guys,

Post cool links and ideas for home brewed campaigns here (stuff that would be non canon like zombies or giant irradiated amoebas).

A buddy from down under sent this in, and I think it gives some nice insight into making home brew campaigns more interesting:

That was pretty interesting. The concept had never occurred to me. And truly any and every rpg game I've ever been in the more dangerous something seems the more inviting it is to explore. And I guess maybe not even dangerous, but just out of place things tend to peak one's curiosity.

As far as campaigns and hooks go I like to add a little bit of the supernatural to games every now and then. Working off of urban legends we all tell each other and putting a spin on them in a game. I'm kind of fond of stuff like werewolves and living skeletons...but in a post apoc world cannibals and ghouls can also work. Mysterious lights that abduct unsuspecting Stakers, could be ghosts or demons, or maybe drones left over from those that left to examine and record the progress of human kind that was left. Either way the campfire stories and the fear factor would be the same.

Could be that for certain scenarios there be a fear rating and a check, and every time you fail your rating goes down by a point. And the lower the rating the more crazy things seem to be.

Is that a sneak peak?

I read something similar earlier this year. And the suggested to create kind of tombs with lot's of spikes, skulls and ugly reliefs to shoo people away.
But the idea to form a "atomic priesthood" sounds interesting, too. People lurking around for generations far too close to contaminated grounds...
