Hey...nice new site.

I just copied and pasted here from the old site....
Hi there. Well, I feel weird posting about myself. I am 36, I started gaming around 11. Mostly Palladium books stuff, and later on White wolf, but really everything I could get a hold of. I stopped role-playing about 17, went to College. Then I graduated and saw a games workshop store in a mall. Since I had nothing to do after graduating, I started getting back into 'the hobby' :dry:B)

I really like to paint miniatures, and this has been the only thing that has really stayed consistent, although I haven't painted in about 6 months . I have painted for commission, and I am better than most people but not anywhere near the best.

I like to dream up ideas and stuff, but follow through is a little difficult.

I run my own business, and my office is in my home. It's an awesome house from 1899 and I am super happy to live and work here.

My business is helping people get benefits from public aid (like foodstamps) I am like...an expediter I don't 'get' people qualified, but I get people benefits they already qualify for but can't access (usually due to incompetent and or mean goverment workers)

the most important things in my life in this order:
God, I am a born again christian (I am willing to talk about this, but not really in a forum setting. It tends to just flame up, but it's who I am, so I thought I should mention it in the 'who I am' thread  )
My family
My community
I work with my wife, and she and my son (who is 7) are my absolute #1 priority.
So sometimes that limits 'game time' (since I like to do things he can do as well), but he is getting older quickly, and that's loads of fun (we play Catan pretty often). Our current love is legos pirates of the Carribean!

This game seems cool to me, I think, mostly because the starch these guys have in starting something new. THAT is captivating and exciting. I really hope it works.

Thanks for reading

j
